McFarland Marceau Architects is a new firm formed by Larry McFarland, prinicipal of Larry McFarland Architects Ltd., and by Marie-Odile Marceau, former principal of Marceau Evans Johnson Architects. A shared design philosophy and committment to environmentally and culturally relevant architecture promises that our architectural contribution to the community wil be ongoing.
We have successfully completed a wide range of project types and sizes with varying budgets. We have extensive experience with projects where the integration of community, culture, and tradition with contemporary design is a key issue, and in institutional projects requiring careful attention to function, quality, cost and coordination. These combined issues have allowed us to develop a well-rounded approach, incorporating all relevant aspects to achieve innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
We have also received numerous awards for our work, including an RAIC Award of Excellence for Green Building, a LEED® Platinum certification, a Governor Generals Award, and several wood design awards. This range of awards demonstrates excellence, not only in design, but in technical expertise and sustainable practices, as well.
